Santa Teresa Convent and Church

Creation: The convent was completed in 1677 and a room in it was set aside for the church. The temple was completed in April 1687. (Get to know La Antigua Guatemala, 2022)

Who created it: It was built by the renowned antique architect José de Porres.

Who or what is represented there: It was a complex destined to the clergy, it was in charge of the Discalced Carmelite nuns.

Where it is located: 1a. Oriente Street, between 3a. Avenida Norte and 4a. Avenida Norte, La Antigua Guatemala.
