San Sebastian Church

When it was created

It was built in 1565 on the hill of San Felipe, but due to the difficult access it was later moved to a point between the road from Antigua to Jocotenango in 1582. After suffering the earthquakes of 1689 and 1773 it was no longer restored and was finally moved to the new capital in 1778. (Ch.Gt, 2019)
